Tata Tigor EV Electric Car

The facelifted Tata Tigor EV has been spotted testing on our roads for the first time. The styling upgrades seen in this particular test mule are similar to the recently launched BS6-compliant Tigor. The facelifted Tata Tigor EV could be launched in the coming months.

Tata Tigor EV Price: Tata sells the Tigor EV from Rs 12.24 lakh to Rs 13.39 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Tigor EV Variants: It is available in three trims: XE, XM, and XZ+.

Tata Tigor EV Battery and Charging: It gets the same Ziptron EV tech as seen on the Tata Nexon EV. The onboard electric motor is powered by a 26kWh battery, giving an output of 75PS/170Nm. The EV can be charged from 0-80 percent in 8.5 hours using a standard wall charger and in 60 minutes using a fast charger.

Tata Tigor EV Range: The ARAI-claimed range for the EV stands at 306km.

Tata Tigor EV Features: The carmaker offers an auto AC as standard with both variants. Also on the list is a 7-inch Harman touchscreen along with four speakers and an equal number of tweeters. 

Tata Tigor EV Safety: Safety features include ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, and hill ascent/descent control. 

Tata Tigor EV Rivals: The Tigor EV has no natural rival in the market.

Tigor EV Specifications

The Tata Tigor EV’s electric motor develops 41PS of power and 105Nm of torque. It draws power from a 21.5kWH battery pack and has an ARAI claimed range of 213km. The Tigor EV’s powertrain supports fast charging and is capable of juicing up from 0-80 per cent in 2 hours. Using a regular charger, it takes 11.5 hours for a 0-100 per cent battery recharge. The Tata Tigor EV is 3992mm long, 1677mm wide and 1537mm tall. It has a 2450mm wheelbase.

The Tata Tigor EV is offered in three variants: XE+, XM+ and XT+. It’s offered with two colour options: Blue and White.

The Tata Tigor EV comes with halogen headlamps, 14-inch alloy wheels and LED tail lamps. Inside, highlights include an infotainment system with USB and Aux-In, a Harman sound system, climate control, steering-mounted audio control, a multi-info display, and keyless entry. Safety features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors.
